Fuel Line/Quick-Connect Fitting Precautions
When removing or installing the fuel feed hose/line, or when disconnecting or connecting the quick-connect fittings, pay attention to the following:

NOTE: Replace the fuel feed hose, fuel line, or the quick-connect fitting to new one if it damaged.
No heat-resistance; Be careful not to damage them during welding or other heat-generating procedures.
No acid-proof; Do not touch them with a shop towel that was used for wiping 12 volt battery electrolyte or something similar.
No stress-resistance; Be careful not to bend or twist the fuel feed hose/line excessively.

A disconnected quick-connect fitting can be reconnected, but the retainer on the mating line cannot be reused once it has been removed from the line.
