Glove Box Removal and Installation

before doing repairs or service.
1.
Glove Box - Remove
1.
Remove the bolts (A).
2.
Release both glove box stops (A) by pushing them in, then let glove box (B) hang down.
3.
Detach the glove box damper (A), then remove the glove box (B).

Glove Box Lock Cylinder - Remove
1.
Remove the glove box lock cylinder trim (A).
2.
Remove the retainer (A).
3.
Remove the glove box lock cylinder (A).
3.
Glove Box Damper - Remove
1.
Detach the hooks (A), then pull out the glove box damper (B).
4.
Glove Box Striker - Remove
Glove box striker type 1
1.
Remove the glove box striker (A).
Glove box striker type 2
1.
Remove the passenger's dashboard trim panel
.
2.
Remove the screws (A) and the bolt (B).
3.
Remove the glove box striker (C).
5.
All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Before reinstalling the glove box lock cylinder, install the retainer (A) into the slot, then Install the glove box lock cylinder (B).
