Front Seat Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.


NOTE: Wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.

4. Front Seat - Remove
1.
Remove the rear inner seat track end cover (A) and the rear outer seat track end cover (B).
2.
Remove the front seat front mounting bolts (A).
3.
Remove the front seat rear mounting bolts (A).




Driver's seat - Without DPMS

Driver's seat - With DPMS

Passenger's seat - Without subwoofer

Passenger's seat - With subwoofer

Disconnect the connector (A).
5.
Passenger's seat without subwoofer and with sitting switch: Disconnect the connector (B).
6.
Passenger's seat with subwoofer: Disconnect the connector (C).
7.
With seat heater: Disconnect the connector (D).
8.
Detach the harness clip(s) (E).
9.
With the help of an assistant, carefully remove the front seat through the front door opening.

5. All Removed Parts - Install

Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
Tighten the bolts by hand first, then tighten them to the specified torque.
Tighten the seat mounting bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown.
