Tailgate Support Strut Removal and Installation

NOTE: Have an assistant help you when removing and installing the tailgate support strut.

1. Tailgate Support Strut - Remove

With the help of an assistant, remove the tailgate support strut (A).

3. Lower Tailgate Support Strut Bracket - Remove
1.
Remove the lower tailgate support strut bracket trim (A).
2.
Remove the lower tailgate support strut bracket (A).

4. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
