Brake Booster Removal and Installation
1.
Air cleaner - Remove
2.
Master Cylinder - Remove
3.
Brake Lines - Remove
1.
Remove the brake lines (A) from the brake line clamps (B).
4.
Brake Booster Vacuum Hose - Disconnect
1.
Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) from the brake booster (B).
5.
Engine Harness Holder - Move
1.
Remove the bolts (A).
2.
Move the engine harness holder (B) aside.
6.
Brake Booster - Remove
1.
Remove the lock pin (A).
2.
Remove the clevis pin (B).
3.
Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C).
4.
Pull the brake booster (A) forward.
5.
Remove the brake booster from the engine compartment.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the brake booster mounting surfaces and the threads on the booster studs.
Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines.
6.
Remove the brake booster gasket (B).

Brake Booster - Install
1.
Install the brake booster (A) with a new brake booster gasket (B).
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the brake booster mounting surfaces and the threads on the booster studs.
Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines.
2.
Install the brake booster mounting nuts (A).
3.
Install the pedal pin (B).
NOTE: Apply multipurpose grease to the clevis pin in the brake pedal.
4.
Install the lock pin (C).
2.
Engine Harness Holder - Install
1.
Install the engine harness holder (A).
3.
Brake Booster Vacuum Hose - Connect
1.
Connect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) to the brake booster (B).
4.
Brake Lines - Install
1.
Install the brake lines (A) to the brake line clamps (B).
5.
Master Cylinder - Install
6.
Air cleaner - Install
7.
Brake Pedal Height and Free Play - Check
