Under-Hood Fuse/Relay Box Removal and Installation

NOTE: The under-hood fuse/relay box is a part of the engine compartment wire harness, and it cannot be replaced by itself.

3. Under-Hood Fuse/Relay Box - Remove
1.
Remove the alternator and the battery cable (A) from the under-hood fuse/relay box (B).
2.
Release the tabs (C), then detach the under-hood fuse/relay box.
3.
Remove the bottom cover (D) from the under-hood fuse/relay box.
4.
Carefully remove the relays using the special relay puller tool.
NOTE: Do not use pliers. Pliers will damage the relays, which could cause the engine to stall or not start or cause other functions to fail.

1.
Install the relays in the under-hood fuse/relay box (A).
2.
Install the bottom cover (B) to the under-hood fuse/relay box.
3.
Install the under-hood fuse/relay box to the bracket (C).
4.
Install the alternator and the battery cable (D) to the under-hood fuse/relay box.
1.
Confirm that all systems work properly.
