If the vehicle is driven mostly in urban areas that have high concentrations of soot in the air from industry and from diesel-powered vehicles, replace every 15,000 miles (24,000 km).
Replace filter whenever airflow from the heating and air conditioning system is less than normal.

Replace transmission fluid (HCF-2)
NOTE: Using the wrong type of fluid will damage the transmission.

Driving in mountainous areas at very low vehicle speeds or trailer towing results in higher transmission temperatures. This requires transmission fluid changes more frequently than recommended by the Maintenance Minder. If the vehicle is regularly driven in under these conditions, have the transmission fluid changed every 25,000 miles (40,000 km).

Use Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2, and if necessary, add Honda Extreme Cold Weather Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2 (concentrate) as needed for prolonged cold temperatures below -22 °F (-30 °C).
