Blower Unit Removal and Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

3. Glove Box Frame - Remove

4. Passenger's Heater Duct - Remove

5. Cross Brace - Remove
1.
Cut the cross brace (A) in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown, and remove it.
NOTE: Retain the cross brace to be reinstalled later.

6. Blower Unit - Remove
1.
Disconnect the connector (A).
2.
Detach the harness clip (B).
3.
Disconnect the connector (A).
4.
Detach the harness clips (B).
5.
Remove the blower unit (A).

7. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Install the cross brace after glove box frame install.
