Front Seat Cushion Cover Removal and Installation

NOTE: Before the front power seat is removed, slide the front power seat to the half-way position, then raise the seat to the highest position.

4. Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad - Remove

Release the straps (A) from the seat cushion frame springs (B), then pull back the undercover (C).




Driver's seat - With DPMS

Driver's seat - With manual height adjustable seat

Passenger's seat - KA, KC

Passenger's seat - KX

With seat heater: Disconnect the connector(s) (A).

With sitting switch: Detach the connector clip (B).
4.
Detach the harness clip(s) (C).
5.
Pry up the hook(s) (D) of the harness holder(s) (E), then release them from the seat cushion frame spring(s) (F).

Release the hook strips (A), and remove the clip (B).

Release the hook strips (A).
9.
Remove the seat cushion cover/pad (A).

5. Front Seat Cushion Cover - Remove
1.
Release the hook strips (A).
2.
Remove the upholstery rings (A).
3.
Remove the seat cushion cover (B).

6. All Removed Parts - Install
1.
Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat cushion cover (B) to the pad wires (C) with new ones using commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
