Transfer Assembly Removal and Installation

NOTE: Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.

6. Transfer Assembly - Remove
1.
Remove the transfer assembly (A) with the O-ring (B).
2.
Remove the dowel pin (C).


NOTE: Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.

1. Transfer Assembly - Install
1.
Clean the areas where the transfer assembly contacts the transmission with solvent, and dry with compressed air.
2.
Apply a light coat of clean transmission fluid to the transfer mount and transfer driven gear (A).
3.
Install the dowel pin (B).
4.
Install the transfer assembly (C) with a new O-ring (D).
